Quilled candle

My mind needs to be challenged all the time because I don't wanna have a time to think ...The action is the enemy of thought....
So I decided to try decoupage and quilling together again, but over a candle. And this is one of my gifts for "Pay it forward" ...candle and a plate... and because I am lucky one and India somehow always presents in my life so first gift goes to India :) . I am sorry for delay but the year still didn't finished. Next gifts will be ready till the еnd of the month I hope.

Jewelries and more...

I' ve always believed that the world is only one... But in fact there are so many  - separated by Gods, color of the skin, wealthiness ...
I still have a Dream ..of a world where all these differences will be only interesting facts of the personality  and we all have to respect them ... nothing more.

 Presents for friends

Bottle decoupage tutorial

Because many of my friends here asked me to show how did I make this bottle and inspite I m quite new in decoupage I ll try to explain.
1. First step is to remove all original labels from the bottle very clearly and dry it.
2. Second step - If  you wanna stick ur own labels prepare them /I used distress inks shown on the pic below/ in advance and fully spread a glue on the back side of the label. I use PVA glue+lil water to make it more liquid and to make paper label wet. Then apply the label on the bottle and cover it with this glue again trying to remove all airy bubbles behind the label, starting always from the centre to the ends of label. Wait all this to dry fully.
3. Third step: Cover the whole bottle with "Medium" - it is some kind of liquid which is a lil bit adhesive /it is white color but when dry becomes transparent/. This is absolutely necessary to apply on the bottle before next step because the glass is quite smooth and the plaster will not stick on it tightly otherwise. Wait to dry again.

4. Forth step - Apply with a knife or spatula the plaster in any form you wish - wait to dry. I wait more than 12 hours between steps to be sure all has dried.

5. Fifth step - Apply the plaster with a nozzle ended plastic bottle from already used hair dye in such shapes and curves as you want. Again dry procedure.

6. Sixth step: Cover all plaster areas with black acrylic paint - wait to dry again :) I use a piece of sponge for this.

7. Seventh step: Cover some areas with silver or gold or any old looking paint to achieve this ancient metal look. Drying again and again

8. Final step: Polish whole bottle twice or even 3 times /I use water based varnish for wood/- so that's it.

Taj Mahal ... the pieces of my heart...

Taj Mahal, ....  & Desert rose

This  is not a project. It is a story how Dreams don't come true.
These are the pieces of my heart. Every pearl is a tear, every swirl is a memory.....
"It doesn't matter how many things we have in life, but who we have...
Because money can't buy everything...
For the most important things in life we pay with the pieces of our soul...."

There is love, which you just wait for the days, months, weeks and years, and it does not come and do not come doomed non- existence.
There is love, which fluctuate whether to pass the threshold of the present and sometimes makes it simple, and another time remains in the future.... very often forever.
There is however, such a love, which will happen whether or not, changes minds, collapses walls, does a miracle after miracle.
This love sometimes  hurts to the core, and sometimes takes your breath of so much happiness, sometimes  leads you, sometimes is blind, sometimes  kills you to revive you  again or to destroy you forever. You can't create  such love, you can't search for it, or  just ignore it. You can't miss it passing through you unnoticed. When it happened u know somehow that it is SHE... you know your  life goes in a new path... you know that nothing will be as before....you  know that even you won't be  exactly the same anymore.
This is true love – the one that remains even when it is gone one day - remains in some of the crevices of the heart and reminds you with its  melancholy rheumatism. It remains in your look and eye moisture... it  remains in dreams and memories - it  remains in the past and in the future ... only true love has that ability to remain ...

Bottle - decoupage&quilling

Well this is my first attempt to make decoupage. I m not sure if it is good or not but I wanted to try. The bottle of wine is a present for a friend :)
